Maximising contract efficiency to make substantial operational savings for Leeds Building Society
Leeds Building Society invited us to review their existing print requirement, to see if we could use our expertise to deliver cost savings and increased efficiency through contract innovation.
We have worked with Leeds Building Society since 2005, supplying stationery, paper, IT consumables and bespoke printed items to locations across the UK.
As part of our comprehensive service, we thoroughly analyse all areas of our customers’ contracts to identify opportunities to improve services and generate savings. Leeds Building Society were looking to make a significant reduction in their overall expenditure, our rigorous approach to contract efficiency enabled them to achieve this.
We significantly streamlined the print processes during the contract review and this allowed us to hold fewer products in stock, resulting in a 40% reduction in print lead times, lowering the associated costs for warehouse space and insurance liability for our customer. A further 18% was saved through effective colour management, by integrating their previously difficult to reproduce corporate yellow as a special colour in the print process.
