To provide specialist support to refresh a brand message within a limited timescale
Vital Communications have worked with this major rail infrastructure operator since 2012, supplying business-critical and operational print, in addition to delivering a variety of one-off projects. In March 2016, Vital were approached by our client who had an urgent requirement to replace the existing hoardings at London Waterloo station to update the public message.
The initial scope was for Vital to work with one of our specialist vendors to ensure installation within our client’s timeframe, with minimal impact to the general public using the station. However in consultation with our client’s agency, it was agreed that we would also manufacture the hoardings from supplied artwork.
The timescale from initial scoping to completion of installation was seven days. We also faced a number of challenges, including last-minute amendments to artwork, ensuring minimal disruption at a major London interchange and overcoming the warping of the supporting structure.
By partnering with a specialist vendor, who are familiar with our client’s operations, brand and requirements, and experienced in this type of installation, we were able to complete the project on time and under budget.
The team could not have been more helpful. They understood the importance of this installation and did all they could to ensure this was carried out to the best possible standard. They also coped with a last-minute change without drama. We would not hesitate in recommending them for future projects.
