Overview

AO.com is an online retailer specialising in electrical goods. Operating in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands, the company was founded in 2000 and employs over 2,500 staff.

In December 2016 Office Depot proactively engaged with AO.com to establish who delivered their Health and Safety training. We identified an opportunity to offer a comprehensive course, and achieve a 50% cost saving compared to what they paid previously.

We explained to AO.com that Office Depot’s Logistics School of Excellence offers interactive, practical training for a wide range of customers, including small-scale support activities and large-scale projects.

We offer a range of programmes including Health and Safety courses, CPC courses, Warehouse and Storage apprenticeships, Driving Goods Vehicles apprenticeships and Transport courses.

Solution

Due to the level of compliance required for each AO.com building and office, it was critical that we could provide a comprehensive training programme, in line with their requirements. The Office Depot Health and Safety training was delivered to12 AO.com employees at their head office in Bolton.

AO.com were so impressed with Office Depot’s Health and Safety courses that they have booked further First Aid training sessions at another AO.com site.
